What do you think?
1) Have you ever planted a garden before?
2) Does your school have a garden?
3) If you have a garden what seeds are in it?
4) What's your favorite fruit or vegetable?
In March, we learned that we were going to have a school garden. The second graders got to measure the plots. Yesterday we started planting the seeds. We got picked to do different jobs. Some people picked out the weeds. We got to get shovels and dig. We got to plant the seeds. We planted corn, carrot, and lima bean seeds. We also planted onion sets. They looked a little like radishes. We put in stakes to show what we planted. After that we went in and Ms. Young's class came out. Now we have to make sure they have water and sunlight and can watch them grow.

On April 30th a class from Sierra Leone, in Africa, visited our blog and now we have visitors to our blog from six continents. Everyday we go on our blog to see the visitors. If there is a visitor from a new country a flag comes up. We have had visitors from 5 continents, Asia, Europe, North and South America and Australia, for a long time. We are so excited to finally have a visitor from Africa. We also have a chart of how many visitors have been to our blog. Today we have 5,994 visitors. We hope you enjoy following our blog.
What are your thoughts? 1) If you have a blog, how many visitors have you had? 2) What do you enjoy about our blog? 3) How many continents have visited your blog? |
