1) Where is your favorite place to read?
The students earned the priviledge of Reading the Morning Away by having 100% participation with reading calendars for the month of November. The students brought in cozy things and books to read. They read for the entire morning and had a yummy snack of popcorn and pretzels. Way to go second graders!

that was so much fun!I also liked the authors celebraton.i remember at my old school we did alot of fun things.

It looks like everyone really enjoys Read the Morning Away! You all look so relaxed and engaged. I wish we had those kinds of mornings at my school when I was a kid. My favorite place to read when I was a kid was outside--on the porch, under a tree, or even up in a tree!
