Before winter break each student received a brand new book to read. S/he then made a folder game that went along with the story. Each student designed a game that showed the events from the book. After completing the books and games the students enjoyed playing their games. However, the best part of this activity was donating all of the books and games to ICYO - Inner City Youth Opportunities, so that children who are less fortunate have the opportunity to read the books and play the games.
